FALLEN FRUIT is the feature film debut of director Chris Molina. A 20-something reluctantly returns to his family home after a recent breakup, and is forced to reevaluate everything he knows in the face of a looming hurricane. The inspiration for these pieces were posters for 2000's and 2010's indie comedies and coming of age films. The film is set in Miami in the midst of hurricane season, so I wanted to emphasize the sunshine-y nature of the city, but in a grounded, more simplistic way. Chris Molina, the director, provided the film's logo for this project.
